Religous Education Program

Our Religious Education program is a ministry of the Catholic Church designated to assist families in
Catholic faith formation and in the sacramental preparation of their children. We offer a continuous program
for students in Kindergarten through 7th grade or year 2 of Confirmation. The curriculum is based on
Scripture, Roman Catholic doctrine, and high school sacramental preparation, as well as prayer, traditions,
and principles, all presented in an age-appropriate setting. The effectiveness of our program depends on
respect and cooperation among students, parents, and our staff.
Religious Education is held in the safe environment of our Mother of Our Redeemer School grounds. All staff and volunteers are screened
according to the guidelines of the Archdiocese of Miami Safe Environment office.

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

The RCIA is the communal process of spiritual and educational formation through which adults explore the Catholic Faith and become fully initiated members of the Roman Catholic Church.

Sessions are every Tuesday from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. at Mother of Our Redeemer Catholic School grounds, Rooms 8, 9, 10 & 12. The RCIA process is all about conversion, communion, and discipleship. It is about growth and change taking place in our hearts and minds so that we can more fully live in relationship with God and each other. It is about living our faith and exploring what belief in God means for our lives. The RCIA assists you in becoming a living, breathing, active disciple of Christ, and a participant in the life of God.

Who Participates In RCIA?

  • Adults who have not been baptized.

  • Adults Baptized in other Christian denominations.

  • Adults Baptized Catholic but have not received First Communion.

For additional information please contact the 'RCIA for Adults Ministery' at (305) 829-614.
They would love to hear from you.
